Applied Anthropology/Policy Analysis

Applied anthropology is the policy oriented branch of anthropology, and is concerned with the application of the anthropological sciences to "directly serve the practical needs of communities and organizations in society" (taken from Alexander Ervin's excellent introductory applied anthropology textbook). As practicing applied anthropologists, FLMA's principals are fully versed in applied anthropological perspectives and practice, and are members of the Society for Applied Anthropology.
